Blue…it is slated to be one of the hot (or cool) colors for weddings this year. I have noticed bridal tastes leaning that way for a little while now, and why not?
Blue is a wonderful color. It is the color of politics and law enforcement, of music and emotion, and of maritime. For some, it is the color of mourning, while for others, the color of love and marriage. It symbolizes truth and is a calming and peaceful color.
As many shades of blue as there are in the world, there are associations with the color. Whatever your reason for choosing blue it is a great choice. Blue can be casual or sophisticated. Blue can go from the beach to the ballroom, and is bound to look fabulous on all of your girls.
Perhaps the only drawback of blue that I can think of is, when it comes to flowers blue just doesn’t seem to cut it. Sure, there are some blue flowers, but just not an overabundance. The good news is, this is where Amy’s unsurpassable creativity comes in to play.
