When Regan and Chris selected the First Presbyterian Church in the charming historic Ardsley Park district of Savannah for their wedding ceremony, and the modern Jepson Center art museum for their reception, a challenge of epic proportions began: the marriage of a classically elegant ceremony with a chic contemporary reception, while still maintaining continuity between them.
Amy handled the challenge like a champ.
Using the same flowers at both the ceremony and reception gave the unified look Amy hoped to achieve. It was in the varying styles of containers and style of flower arranging that achieves the two different looks. For the church, the flowers had more of the feel of an English garden, as did the containers. At the Jepson Center, sleek white vases with tall, architectural arrangements complimented the modern feel exuded by the museum.
