Tasha and Eric’s Wedding: Harvey Designs, Event and Floral Design, Savannah Georgia

While Tasha and Eric chose more simple decor for their wedding, the attention to detail from the chair markers to the heirloom ring incorporated into Tasha’s bouquet made their’s a sweet, beautiful wedding.

Green cymbidium orchids, paired with ti leaves and bear grass, gave the chair markers a tropical feel, while the brown satin ribbon tied with long tails added dramatic elegance.

Simple and classic, Tasha’s bouquet of white roses and white tulips was given an extra touch with the addition of her grandmother’s engagement ring tied into the white satin ribbon wrapping.

Chartreuse green kermit mums added a pop of color to white standard roses in the bridesmaids’ bouquets.

The groom’s white standard rose boutonniere coordinated with his bride’s flowers with the addition of green hypericum berries for a burst of color. The brown satin ribbon was wrapped with copper wire.

The groomsmen’s boutonnieres were of kermit mums to match the bridesmaids’ bouquets. Instead of green, the hypericum berries were red. Like Eric’s boutonniere, however, they were also wrapped with brown satin ribbon and copper wire.

Short square glass vases were wrapped with brown satin ribbon and held arrangements of white roses and green kermit mums.

When the bride and groom jump over the broomstick, whoever jumps the highest will be the decision maker of the family, so the African tradition states. It is only fitting that such a powerful instrument be adorned properly. Tasha and Eric’s broomstick was decorated beautifully with gardenia, white roses and white ranunculus.
