Weekend Review: From Purple to Nautical | Harvey Designs | Event and Floral Design | Savannah GA

We love it when we have weddings that are so very different from one another.  It is a lot more fun to have two totally different wedding looks going on for a weekend.  It’s also a lot easier to tell what flowers go with each wedding.  This past weekend was one of those weeks.  We’ll start with Leigh’s seashell inspired wedding!

Starfish accents and lovely airy arrangements with seashells.

The seashell theme fit perfectly with the Savannah Yacht Club venue.  Calm blues and greens with a pop of light peach throughout the design.

Large nautilus shells hold blue and green hydrangea with twisted branches on a sea fan

Our second wedding of the weekend features PURPLE!  So many beautiful shades of purple against lovely white, crystal and silver makes a stunning impression.

Varied arrangements in silver candelabras beneath draped chandeliers featuring purple feathers and phalaenopsis orchids suspended with purple ribbon.

The overall look is simply stunning.  The varying shades of purple pop against the understated white linens.  The Westin’s Harbor Ballroom is the perfect backdrop for such an over the top design.

We love how well the cake fits right in with the overall design! What else would you expect from Custom Cakes?

Two very different design styles for two very beautiful weddings!  Our best wishes go out to Leigh and David and Brooke and Brant in their new lives together!  Congratulations!

As always, we love that you’ve stopped by!  Let us know what you think!
