Weekend Review- Fourth of July Engagement Party | Harvey Designs | Event and Floral Design | Savannah, GA

Most of our business is weddings, however, we do all kinds of other events.  Case in point: the Marks engagement party this past weekend.  The overall theme is “Cinderella” using silver, blue and white.   From flowers, to the cake, to the guest favors, everything fell in line with this theme.   Here are a few pictures of our work.

A simple and elegant color palette is very dramatic when used properly.

Connie Duglin Linens in Colonial Blue Damask and Ice Blue Crushed Romance add texture and provide most of the color for this lovely event.  The floor plan featured banquet seating as well as round tables.  This combination of different styles of tables breaks up the room and prevents the event from feeling too stuffy with full banquet seating.

The high table arrangements lead the eye to the chandelier draped in ribbon and crystals.

Milky white vases, white ostrich feathers, white branches with crystal are a modern interpretation on a classic fairy tale.

The main tables feature both tall and low arrangements with votives, diamels, and clusters of candlesticks.  The round tables feature low arrangements with votive candles.

A large orchid flower ball is suspended from the center of a large white tent.

Outside on the lawn a large tent from Beachview Rentals gave guests the opportunity to enjoy the lovely weather and watch the Fourth of July Fireworks from the Westin’s harbor lawn.

A fabric covered arch with a spray of hydrangeas compliments a candelabra topped with roses and hydrangeas.

An event just would not be complete without a cake!  Carri, of Two Cakes brings the sweetness with this lovely blue and white confectionery delight!

It is always a pleasure to work with great professionals at an event.  And it’s always nice to hear from our readers!  Thanks for stopping by.
